Kyle Skovira | Guided Talk and Meditation weaving restorative justice with the practice of metta
Kyle will lead a guided talk and meditation weaving the practice of metta, or lovingkindness/goodwill, with restorative justice-- a practice of staying present with ourselves and one another, exploring what soothes and what aches, and our capacity to hold the whole of it. Through quiet reflection and guided meditation, we'll practice extending goodwill in a way that neither controls nor rescues, letting the body explore its definition of right relationship
About Kyle Skovira
Kyle Skovira, LMSW (they/them) is a restorative justice facilitator and psychotherapist who centers relationship as a practice: with self, with one another, and the systems we've inherited. Kyle creates spaces for reflection, dialogue, and storytelling: the slow and recursive practice of tending trust, care and accountability. At its core, their work is a practice of right relationship: to remember, again and again, the beautiful ways we can weave together.
